    Hi David,
Thank you for your question. The walking track at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex is currently open Monday - Friday from 8a - 1pm (Except for new year's eve). Facilities information can also be found on our website; https://www.northperth.ca/en/our-community/facilities.aspx?_mid_=18496

  • Share It's too bad that the walking track hours are so few this season. Can the municipality consider opening up more hours? Or having it available more mornings a week? It's so important to keep folks healthy, but part of that is also keeping people moving, many that would not be safe out in the snow but do well on the walking track. I hope that there will be more hours added to the walking track timing. I realize it will mean more cleaning and tracking, but this may be very worth it. Also, how does one find out about the Sell Off ice times? Is that information posted somewhere or can I sign up to be notified? on Facebook Share It's too bad that the walking track hours are so few this season. Hi Kendra. Thank you for your question!

At this time, the Parks and Recreation Department is working within the Provincial and Public Health Guidelines as we continue to safely reopen our facilities and offer programs to community members. The Indoor Walking Track Hours at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex have increased on both Mondays and Wednesdays. The Department continues to address the number of days the program is offered to ensure that there is appropriate staffing on site to complete COVID-19 screening, tracking, and tracing. The Department also must ensure that facility bookings/programs do not overlap with other users for the safety of all participants. The Parks and Recreation Department will continue to re-evaluate this program and the days/hours it is offered.

If you are interested in booking sell-off ice times, please email Nicole Johnston at njohnston@northperth.ca and she will add your email address to the distribution list for the weekly sell-off ice emails.
