Each year, the Municipality of North Perth prepares an operating and capital budget. The budget is the Municipality&#39;s plan for the coming period, expressed in dollars.The budget addresses the need to support important municipal services, some of these services are statutory - they are mandated by the province. Only a few discretionary items exist in the municipal budget. 2025 North Perth Budget

In 2023, the Council of the Municipality of North Perth adopted a Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Racism Charter and established the North Perth Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee.About the DEI Advisory CommitteeNorth Perth’s DEI Advisory Committee was established in May 2023. The mandate of the DEI Advisory Committee is to provide North Perth Council feedback, guidance, and support to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Municipality of North Perth.The Committee is comprised of a diverse mix of community members, and a Council representative and is supported by designated municipal staff.The Committee has adopted the mission to “Identify and eliminate barriers to the Municipality’s programs, services, and policies to make North Perth a community that is inclusive, where residents, businesses, and visitors feel welcome and are engaged.”We Want to Hear from You!The DEI Advisory Committee wants to hear from our fellow community members. Hearing your stories, experiences, ideas, and concerns will help the Committee identify and implement initiatives and solutions that achieve our mission to make North Perth a community that is inclusive, welcoming, and engaging.
